Had Teuflfesburg entered stud there instead of Ky it would be a no brainer, IMHO but since he did stand in Ky first I'm not sure he would be in the top 10. But the European owners and trainers are snatching up Bernardini off-spring at sales as fast as they can get their hand's on them. He's sired 3 outstanding juveniles in 2010 in Great Britain. Godolphin's Biondetti. Who became Bernardini's first G1 winner by winning the Premio Gran Criterium in San Siro, Italy. He's still unbeaten on turf, and ran a very respectable 4th in this year's Breeders Cup Juvenile. His first ever start on conventional dirt. Also, the filly that raced in in the Breeders Cup Juvenile Fillies, Theysken's Theory is also by Bernardini. There's also a juvenile colt, Treasury Devil, owned by Andrew Lloyd and Lady Weber. Owners of the great race-mare, Dar Re Mi. They paid $1 million dollars for Treasury Devil because Bernardini was his sire. Treasury Devil has 3 win's in 4 lifetime starts. · 885 days ago ·
