LaD 8/1/2009 R10 - Gamble on Rocket Underneath  The final race on the Louisiana Cup card is a turf affair for the elders. Desert Wheat, Star Guitar... the typical hard-knockers... are the headliners. There seems to be a lot of pace, which sets-up for those two, but some others as well. Gamble on Rocket is a 4-year-old gelding who has really turned a corner this year. Last time he made up ten lengths in the stretch to win going away. While he might not be quite good enough to win, at 20-1, I think he's good enough to hit the board.
