In 1989, Graham Beck purchased Gainesway from industry leader John Gaines. Mr. Beck has enjoyed great success breeding and buying Thoroughbreds and is a perennial leading owner/buyer in his native South Africa. Graham and his son Antony are dedicated to carrying on Gainesway’s reputation as a major force in breeding and racing internationally. Building a tradition of excellence takes years of hard work, dedication and success. At Gainesway, we are proud of our reputation as expert horsemen and proven winners, both on the track and in the sales ring.
Our location is also ideal. We are within minutes of all support services and major veterinarian clinics. Gainesway Farm is on some of the finest bluegrass land in Kentucky. We encompass 1,500 prime acres of the former Greentree and Whitney farms, with ample space on some of the most productive land in Thoroughbred history. This tradition-bound land echoes the past, present and future of countless Thoroughbred Champions.
