What the Nation is saying about 2013 Kentucky Derby Workouts...

slightly under 2 weeks to the derby.most of the horses have arrived and worked.the usual comedy and expected routine will now get underway.i am not naive to think they would say anything different.the funny part is how every trainer will tell you their horse is doing great.loves the track,was effortless.yet,25 minutes after the derby.the winning trainer will confirm that earlier line.19 trainers will more than likely say that their horse did not take to the surface.one of the reasons,and this holds true for basically every major track on big days.they scrape the track so much to get fast times.more often than not.these days usually are biased towards inside paths and pace horses.so to the public.do not get caught up with the times of the works.just look at your horses physical appearance.trust me .the track they will be running on as opposed to the track they are working on.you might as well be at a different location.
