Vale of York Invincible Spirit	Saeed Bin Suroor Meydan, Dubai, Mar. 4	May run in a 1 3/16 mile listed race March 4. “He is a bit behind schedule, but going OK,” said racing manager Simon Crisford. “We wont decide on any future plans until we see how he races at Meydan.”
Noble's Promise Cuvee	Ken McPeek Rebel, March 13, Oaklawn	Went 48 2/5 at GP on Fountain of Youth day. "Right now, the Rebel looks like where he'll run next," said McPeek. "I want to go two turns with him the first time and preferably a mile and one sixteenth. I've got Robby Albarado lined up to ride."
Dublin Afleet Alex	D. Wayne Lukas Rebel, March 13, Oaklawn	Couldn't quite catch Conveyance falling 3/4 of a length short, but still a good 3yo debut.
Homeboykris Roman Ruler	Richard Dutrow Jr.	Got cooked in the pace of the Holy Bull and faded to fifth by 5 1/2 lengths. May be purely a sprinter? Still on the Derby trail at all?
Blind Luck Pollard's Vision	Jerry Hollendorfer	Top 3yo filly got up by a nose to take the Las Virgenes Feb. 5. She closed 5 lengths in the stretch going the final quarter mile in :22 2/5.
Grade 2 winners
Eskendereya Giant's Causeway	Todd Pletcher Florida Derby, Mar. 20, GP	Absolutely dominated the Fountain of Youth - by 8 1/2 lengths. "You’ve got to be excited when they perform like that in these kind of races at this time of year," said Pletcher. "I was particularly pleased with the way he finished. I don’t think we’ve ever gotten to the bottom of him."
Caracortado Cat Dreams	Mike Machowsky San Felipe, Mar. 13, SA	Undefeated in 5 starts after upset win in Lewis stakes on Feb. 13. “We’ll look at the San Felipe next and see if Lookin At Lucky comes at us.”
Super Saver Maria's Mon	Todd Pletcher Rebel or Gotham	Went 5f in 1:01 2/5 on Wed am (2/17). “He’ll have another breeze next week and then we’ll decide where he’ll go," said Pletcher. "The Gotham (3/6, Aqu) and Rebel (3/13, OP) are both possible. We’ll know a lot more after his next breeze.”
D' Funnybone D'wildcat	Richard Dutrow Jr. Florida Derby, Mar. 20, GP	Won like a good thing in the G2 Hutcheson at 7 furlongs. “At this point, I’m not ready to concede that his race in the Breeders’ Cup was attributable to the distance, but rather the track," said Dutrow. "Like any 3-year-old at this time of the year you think about the Derby, so unless something develops to change our mind, the Florida Derby is likely where he’ll go next.”
Buddy's Saint Saint Liam	Bruce Levine	Finished a troubled 9th, over 20 lengths back in the Fountain of Youth. “The other horses came in like nothing. I was already in a spot, and they came in and killed my horse; put him into the rail," said disappointed jockey Jose Lezcano. "He came back a little bit to run, but I was out of the race by then because of what happened.”
Sidney's Candy Candy Ride	John Sadler Gotham, Mar 5, Aqu	Gotham is likely next. "There's a lot of choices," Sadler told the DRF. "We'll look around the country. He needs more graded earnings. And he needs to go two turns."
Discreetly Mine Mineshaft	Todd_Pletcher	Went to the front and wired a paceless Risen Star. “I’m very satisfied with the way the race developed," said jockey Javier Castellano. "This course tends to favor those that come from behind. We got a position, relaxed, made a move on the backstretch and just continued to the wire."
Grade 3 winners
Conveyance Indian Charlie	Bob Baffert UAE Derby?	Ran them off their feet in the Southwest. Went 46 1/5 and 1:10 3/5 and held on by 3/4 of a length. Could go in UAE Derby in Dubai on March 27.
Ron The Greek Full Mandate	Tom Amoss La Derby, Mar. 27, FG	Finished a disappointing 6th in the Risen Star as the 7-2 third choice. “The pace was so slow," said jockey James Graham. "A little speed in the next one will definitely help.”
American Lion Tiznow	Eoin Harty	Rode shotgun to Tiz Chrome all the way around the track on one of the fastest paces of the day and got beat out of 2nd at the wire. Was better than it looked and not a bad 3yo and two-turn debut.
Thiskyhasnolimit Sky Mesa	Steve Asmussen	G3 winner in Iroquois at CD is nominated but not in training right now.
Rule Roman Ruler	Todd Pletcher Grade 1 race	Made it four in a row wire-to-wire in the Sam Davis at Tampa. “It just what we were hoping for," said Pletcher. "He finished up very gamely with his ears pricked at the wire. He’s probably not going to come back for the Tampa Bay Derby; we’re probably going to make his next start in a Grade I."
Interactif Broken Vow	Todd Pletcher	Nosed out by ultra-game Bim Bam in the Feb. 7 Hallandale Beach on the Gulfstream turf. Pletcher is looking for one more race before the Santa Anita Derby (Apr. 3).
Fly by Phil Act of Duty	Kathleen O'Connell	Won Tropical Park Derby over turf.
Connemara Giant's Causeway	Todd Pletcher Santa Anita Derby, 4/3, SA	Closed from last to first to take G3 El Camino Real Derby on Feb. 20 at Golden Gate. Not the toughest race, but still improving and moves forward.
Stakes winners
Jackson Bend Hear No Evil	Nick Zito Fla Derby?	Another 2nd, another tough trip, but this time 8 1/2 lengths back. “My horse ran his heart out," said jockey Jeremy Rose. "The two-horse (Buddy’s Saint) never got in our way, he sort of just bounced off the rail but we stayed clear of that.”
Peppi Knows Stephen Got Even	Tim Kreiser Gotham, March 6, Aqu	Captured 1 1/16m Whirlaway at Aqueduct on Feb. 6.
Laus Deo Medaglia d'Oro	Anthony Dutrow Stakes at Gulfstream	Nice win in the Count Fleet at Aqueduct, now heads south for Gulfstream Stakes
Uptowncharlybrown Limehouse	Alan Seewald	Tasted defeat for first time running 3rd by 4 in Feb. 13 Lewis. Not what the connections were looking for, but not a disaster. Closed well in two-turn debut.
Tiz Chrome Tiznow	Bob Baffert Gotham, March 6, Aqu	Suffered first defeat in Lewis. Set a good pace and was hounded the entire time by American Lion, but faded to 4th. "He came out of the race with a foot bruise, but he's doing better by the day," Baffert told the Daily Racing Form.
William's Kitten Kitten's Joy	Mike Maker Risen Star, Feb. 20, FG	Enters the Risen Star after a good third in the Holy Bull. Probably looking for two turns and a softer spot in Louisiana.
Uh Oh Bango Top Hit	Kory Owens Rebel, March 13, Oaklawn	Ran good 2nd's in G3's against Rule and Theskyhasnolimit. No races in 2010, but has good earnings, so don't rule him out of Derby picture yet.
Cool Bullet Red Bullet	Steve Margolis	Was the only one chasing Conveyance in the Southwest, and that took it's toll as he finished in 8th.
Graded Stakes Placed
Pulsion Include	Patrick Biancone	Sixth in his 3yo debut in the Fountain of Youth. Should improve with another race and some more pace.
Aikenite Yes It's True	Todd Pletcher	Finished 3rd, making a solid showing in the Fountain of Youth after bumping with Buddy's Saint early on.
Aspire Tale of The Cat	Eddie Kenneally	3rd in Champagne, then tossed a dud 12th in BC Juvenile. Has some potential.
Thank U Philippe Proud Accolade	Marty Wolfson	Also flashed more speed than usual in Holy Bull fourth-place effort.
Letsgetitonmon Maria's Mon	Steve Asmussen	Finished 8th in merry-go-round Risen Star where the 1-2-3 pacesetters finished up that way. Deserves another chance in the Louisiana Derby.
Dave In Dixie Dixie Union	John Sadler San Felipe, Mar 13, SA	The race set up for him a bit, and he closed solidly but very late for 2nd behind Caracortado in the Feb. 13 Lewis. A good start to his 3 year old season.
Tempted To Tapit Tapit	Steve Klesaris La or Sunland Derby	Solid 2nd for this gelding in stakes debut in Risen Star.

Lentenor Dynaformer	Michael Matz Florida Derby?	Ran second by a 1/2 length in GP Turf allow on Wed, Feb. 17. "I thought he performed well," said Matz, who was unsure of his next race, but did not rule out the Florida Derby.
Hotep A. P. Indy	Mark Frostad	Uninspiring 10th from 12 post in the Risen Star. You have to wonder if they will pack it in soon and point this Ontario-bred for the Canadian triple crown.
Schoolyard Dreams Stephen Got Even	Derek Ryan	Good 2nd behind Rule in stakes debut in Feb. 13 Sam Davis. Showed flashes of brilliance with four-wide move on turn and trying to stay with winner in the stretch.
Stay Put Broken Vow	Steve Margolis La Derby, Mar. 27, FG	Stuck behind in a paceless race, actually ran the best of the closers, finishing 5th only 2 1/2 lengths out of it. Would have to think La Derby is next.
Down With Dixie Purge	Paul J. McGee	Beaten 3 1/4 lengths by Hotep in 1 mile 40y FG allowance Feb. 1.
Bulls And Bears Holy Bull	Rick Violette Jr.	Super-hyped Saratoga maiden winner on the shelf since fast-closing 5th in Sanford Stakes in July at Sar.
Eightyfiveinafifty Forest Camp	Gary Contessa	Reportedly had bit snapped in Whirlaway. Blew the turn, hit the rail and dropped Chavez. Previously blasted maidens by 17 lengths on Jan. 9 in 2nd lifetime start.
Drosselmeyer Distorted Humor	Bill Mott La Derby next?	Close 4th in Risen Star. “It was just a slow pace," said Desormeaux. "He was trying hard at the end and we just couldn’t catch up. It was very encouraging the way he galloped out." If you're a fan, nothing to be discouraged about, plus a better price next time. Graded earnings could start to be a problem, however.
Fly Down Mineshaft	Nick Zito	Closed well to capture 1 1/8 mile allowance race on Feb. 21 at Gulfstream over First Dude and Colizeo.
Odysseus Malibu Moon	Tom Albertrani Tampa Bay Derby, Mar. 13	Demolished Tampa allowance field by 15 lengths as 1-2 favorite in a field of 6 on Feb. 17. Went 1 1/16 miles in 1:44.37 (Rule went in 1:44.15).
Hawaiian Springs Stephen Got Even	Kathy Walsh	Impressive maiden winner in December at Hollywood is currently not in training.
Colizeo Distorted Humor	Todd Pletcher	Ran a dull 4th in GP allowance on Feb. 21 after being pushed on the pace.
Awesome Act Awesome Again	Jeremy Noseda Gotham, March 6, Aqu	Noseda said, "I am happy with Awesome Act and we are now moving forward with our plan to send him to the Grade 3 Gotham Stakes at Aqueduct on March 6."
Worldly A. P. Indy	Paul J. McGee	Ran an even 7th in paceless FG race. Not sure where they go from here.
Tahitian Warrior Maria's Mon	Saeed Bin Suroor Meydan, Dubai, Mar. 4or 5	“We hope he will be good enough to run in the UAE Derby, but we haven’t gotten any further than that with his future plans,” racing manager Simon Crisford said.
Trappe Shot Tapit	Kiaran McLaughlin	This is one to watch. Demolished FL-bred maidens by 10 1/4 lengths on Feb. 21 at Gulfstream. McLaughlin said he was only 75% for that race, as reported by Twitter/Derbycontenders.

Brake Lights Distorted Humor	Kiaran McLaughlin	OFF THE DERBY TRAIL with a chip in his ankle. Will be pointed for summer. Broke maiden by 9 1/2 lengths at Aqueduct on Jan. 2.
Pounced Rahy	John Gosden	Pounced was not nominated to the Triple Crown and trainer said that news reports saying the colt could be Derby-bound are in error.
Piscitelli Victory Gallop	Greg Sacco	Injured in the Jan. 23 Holy Bull stakes at Gulfstream and will be sidelined for 90 days.
Winslow Homer Unbridled's Song	Tony Dutrow Ftn of Youth, Feb. 20, GP	"We found a small stress fracture in his cannon bone, resulting in Winslow having to go on the shelf for the next 60-90 days," owner Rick Porter said.
Maximus Ruler Roman Ruler	Clark Hanna	Will be given 30 days off due to minor injuries. "Hopefully, he'll be ready for a good summer campaign," said Hanna.
Dryfly Jump Start	Lynn Whiting	Found to have a minor injury and will be out 90 to 120 days. Will be brought back to the races for a Fall campaign.
