Who Am I ???

Who Am I ???

*I was far from a Kentucky-bred, although my sire was a Horse of the Year, just not in America.

*My career debut was in a stakes race, my next start was in a grade one.

*I was favored in my final ten starts with average odds just lower than 1-2.

*Two of my first three races came at night, all of the rest came in the day.

*I was rewarded with an Eclipse Award for the most consistent of my three seasons on the racetrack.

*I ran in American Classics or Breeders' Cup races five times with a 2nd place finish being the best to show for my efforts.

*My favorite turf writer? It would have to be Andrew Beyer.

*I would love to tell you about my trainer … but which one?

*My final career start put an end to a six-race winning streak.

*If I had only won that race, I would have ended my career with a 50% career winning percentage, but alas I was second.

*Dunkin' Donuts was my favorite, but Krispy Kreme was not far behind.

You should know by now … Who Am I ???

What the Nation is saying about Who Am I ???...

I had another name in mind. One that doens't believe Frankel is good. Ring a bell? Catchin up...
Even jackie is no match.
Well, then this will give you time to prove it incase a certain person wishes to try to overthrow your thrown
It already is.
Come on troll! Make this and the Troll King title of HRN will be yours!
Yes, he can ! Come on, cocoa !
Can Cocoa2 make it 2 in a row? Find out tonight at 9 Eastern. 6 Pacific?
Two in a row is hard! I was nowhere near the mark tonight.
Congrats Cocoa2.
Groovy had a sweet tooth, loved jelly donuts ... Also, he's recognized as the Beyer speed figure King, with a 131-134 in back-to back races.
  • ErnieMunick · Don't remember the donuts, do remember the Beyers. Told Jose Martin that Groovy would beat Ogygian at a mile . Good work · 344 days ago ·

I doubt I can pull off two in row, but this was a nice way to end the night.
Two straight first-time winners ... Big congrats, cocoa2! Better bring it next week, they'll all be gunning for you.
well done! That was done in a Groovy like 107 1/5!
Knew it was the Meadowlands, but couldn't get Groovy yet! NIce job!

  • cocoa2 · My grandfather would never let me forget two horses, Stymie and Groovy. He loved Stymie and Gallorette's rivalry and he loved that Groovy liked to eat jelly doughnuts. The Beyer clue just added to my guess. · 344 days ago ·
