Who Am I ???

Who Am I ???

*The son of a great one, I was foaled at one of America's most legendary farms.

*Like myself, my trainer was also a well-bred success story.

*A winner of more than 70% of my races, I also finished in the money every time but my career debut.

*My first race under the famed twin spires resulted in a victory during the final week of April.

*More than half of my career victories came in the Sunshine State.

*My final career race was most disappointing for more than one reason.

*Two of my riders (there were only three) are members of the Hall of Fame.

*I was successful at seven different distances from six furlongs to a mile-and-a-quarter.

*One of the ten victories that came in the first half of my great season was via disqualification.

*My first career race was in New Jersey, my final one was in New York.

*I already mentioned my dad, but my mom and best daughter were far from slouches as well.

You should know by now … Who Am I ???

Older Comments about Who Am I ???...

Stuck with this for tonight and Friday. Had my name back on my computer. Not that life-altering, though Hope you get the quirkiness worked out, jay..
I tried it and your correct Aviator, Brian help! LOL certain features as aviator described above bring up a small error message stating "an unexpected error has occurred, please try again later".
Mary, likin...(Jay S.) Looks like I may be Aviator a while longer. Jay S. Can't "like" comments or "Be a Fan" of a horse. Jay S. gets an error message when attempting. Mary, Likin, you may want to try yours as well.
Back!!! Thanks Brian you've done well.
YEAH ! Thanks, Brian, for the username back.
Can you give it another shot now?
Brian, Just tried it and no go, same deal can't access anything mainpage, account, profile etc...reverts to error screen. Thanks for looking into it but if no resolution I won't have a problem creating this new one.
Thanks ... I think it is fixed now!
Brian, looks as if the site will not accept a space between the screen names, is there a fix?
Way to go Mary.
Nice job Mary!

Yukichan, when I signed up for gmail, it wouldn't let me use just my name, not even with middle initial. After a few tries, I gave up and added the mrs.

Meet Brian Zipse

Brian has been a passionate fan of horse racing his entire life. Taken to the races at a very young age, he has been lucky enough to see all the greats in person from Secretariat, Forego, and Ruffian through Rachel Alexandra, Zenyatta, and American Pharoah. Before coming to the Nation, Brian displayed his love for the sport through the development of his horse racing website, which quickly became one of the most popular blogs in the game.

As Editor of Horse Racing Nation, Brian authors a daily column as Zipse at the Track, or ZATT for short, and adds his editorial flare to the overall content of the website. A big supporter of thoroughbred aftercare, he serves on the Board of Directors of The Exceller Fund. Brian also consults for leading contest site Derby Wars, and is a Vox Populi committee member.

A horse owner and graduate of DePaul University, Brian lives just outside of Louisville with his wife Candice and daughter Kendra.
