While most horse racing patrons make the trip to the track to witness and wager on the equine athletes, there is another side to the horse racing industry - the backside. In this video, I take in the sights and sounds of Saratoga's Oklahoma training track in the hours just after sunrise. When you watch the video, you'll get a firsthand account of the going-ons at the stables across the street from the famed track. While the finish line (and finding a winner) are the goals in the afternoon, the quiet mornings along shed row are all about the preparations of humans and horses for some future race day. In the afternoon, I provide up close and personal access from the paddock and winner's circle. Enjoy!
