*Timeform Master Rating: 129
Most Impressive Prep Race: Grade 1 Santa Anita Handicap, Santa Anita, March 2 2013
**TimeformUS Speed Figure earned: 132
Analysis of key prep (Grade 1 Santa Anita H.): Game On Dude has dominated the handicap division in 2013.  He is undefeated in five starts thus far.  Four of the five wins resulted in TimeformUS speed figures in the 128-to-132 range, while the other was a win on the Charles Town bullring, a track he had not run well on in the past.  (He still managed a 121.)  It is tough to choose the best of four outstanding races.  The choice will be the Santa Anita Handicap since it most resembles the conditions of this year’s Classic.  It is run at the same 10-furlong distance on the same dirt oval.   Game On Dude opened a clear lead while setting honest fractions.  The opening quarter and half were run in TimeformUS 135, the 6f and 1m calls were run in 133, and the final time in 131.  He was drawing away at the finish, winning by nearly eight lengths and leaving future Jockey Club Gold Cup winner Ron the Greek nearly 10 lengths in his wake.  He carried 125 pounds and was assigned a TimeformUS speed figure of 132.

*Timeform Master Ratings are adjusted for age, so that equal ratings mean horses of equal merit. Another way of looking at it is to see the universal rating handicap as four handicaps side by side: one for two-year-olds, one for three-year -olds, one for four-year-olds and one for older horses.
**In TimeformUS past performances, neither the Timeform Performance Ratings nor the TimeformUS Speed Figures are adjusted for age.
