Heck tv...didn't you see how rude he was to the kid that visited the cockpit in "Airplane?"
I met a few sky recaps at the airport who told me that when Alcindor was on the Lakers, he was very rude and distant to all fan and THEM all the time..They referred to him as the ten story asshole..I was sorry to hear that.

Alcindor was a very private person constantly under visual attack and he had to drag a seat around to all of his classes as the ones provided were NO WHERE big enough for him to function
Lewis,i like that Vic .Quoting the wizard of Westwood. The great John Wooden. He is the only one that called Alcindor lewis.Did he ever talk to you about his days at Power Memorial H.S in NYC. I grew up in the city ,not to far from there.Had many friends that went there.Arguably at the time. The #1 rated Catholic H.S. team in the Area.
who is that?
I live much closer to King and Dufferin, near the old race track of that latter name
What do you think of Jane Cibelli, then?
I do enjoy life and the races...It is the truth about the races that seems to bug those living a lie
Travel Vic forgot to mention his 999 Queen Street connection.
lewis and I were in three classes together
Sullivan is right Vic,lighten up and enjoy. When you were a Bruin , was that before or after Bill Walton days or do you go back to Sweet Lew Alcindor
6 months a few days I meant
I left Gerogia (thank goodness) at age 6 months old because of my mother's problems with her asthma and humidity, so I was a Californian since age 5 months a few days...Lived close to Disneyland as I grew up in Santa Ana
like to tm, never imagined you with a Southern Accent, t_v. I must say, I like this new t_v.
I was born in Georgia, attended school in S. California...My first Canadian connection was at my residency at Vancvover General Hospital.....A UCLA Bruin
Even Greece. The way you say it,you are not taking a backhand slap in my mother land where i was born, are you Vic. (just kidding) I only thought Laz took shots.Must be something about you north of the border guys.
Robyn was working and Mrs. Wright made the introductions
I used to be able to have a seat some weekends at either Hollywood or Anita with Mrs. Lu Wright who's husband had been one of the major vets for the state, SHe used to bring me totes and prgrams from race tracks in Germany, England and even Greece...Now she really knew the inside dope about the track
The main question then is. Did Freddie boy and Robin recognize you?????
