The horses that ran behind American Pharoah Derby: Firing Line Dortmund Frosted Danzig Moon Preakness: Tale of Verve Divining Rod Dortmund Mr Z Belmont: Frosted Keen Ice Mubtaahij Breeders Cup Effinex Honor Code Keen Ice. Not a fan of the horses who ran behind him and Equibase gave him a best of only 119. Also he got some candy leads. What I did like was he won three of the races big.

Remove this from your comment now before people start posting about the dirt horse who had the top equibase speed figure in 2015!!! By the way do you know which dirt horses with the top 3 equibase speed figures in 2015? (hint: they are in the 126-127 range). · 1 day ago
  • Ferrisjso26 · Ignored Ap's two year old competition and Materiality(who actually did well in the TC). Also ignored Tonalist and Frosted in the BCC. · 2 hours ago

I am not buying any of these excuses that he didnt like the track. He was in perfect position going into the final turn. Something went amiss with Mo. You just dont stop running and almost pull up if you dont like the surface.

Will sonbird race in March?
BREAKING NEWS: Al Shaqab racing advisor Harry Herbert has confirmed that Toast Of New York, winner of the 2014 G2 UAE Derby and second by a nose in that year’s GI Breeders’ Cup Classic, could return to training. The 6-year-old stood his first season in Qatar last year but, with the small nature of the Thoroughbred breeding industry in that country, covered few mares. Herbert said Toast Of New York has been shipped back to the UK and is currently undergoing veterinary inspection to determine if a return to racing is possible. “Toast Of New York is actually back in the UK at the moment, just looking at the possibility of getting him back on the racetrack,” Herbert said. “He sustained an injury that stopped him from running so he went to stud. He could stay [in Qatar] and not breed many mares, but we wanted to at least have a look to see if he could withstand training again.
Mastery vs McCraken?
  • plosives · I'll pick neither · 1 day ago
  • Pebbles via Disqus · Its a tough call. McCraken has already proven that he has carried his 2 year old form, forward. By how he is training, Mastery should do the same, but until it happens McCraken right now I would rank higher. · 1 hour ago
Hmm. Pointed to the Rebel instead of Mastery. I find that curious, but we shall see.
Made You Look, a multiple graded stakes winner on turf, will make his dirt debut in this Saturday’s Grade 2, $400,000 Fountain of Youth Stakes at Gulfstream Park, trainer Todd Pletcher said Sunday.
Thanks for the reply Goblin&SS
Anyone hear why this horse scratched out of the Risen Star?
What a monster of a horse. If he hadn't had shin problems as a two year old, Baffert would have had two triple crown winners in a row in my opinion.
  • Captain Obvious via Disqus · A classic example of a horse that wasn't ready for the Triple Crown. Missing the TC early on certainly doesn't mean the horse isn't the best horse. · 2 hours ago
has Pletcher ever won the Derby?
