Perry Ouzts gained the 5,000th win of his riding career when he piloted Kandinsky to victory at River Downs. ~2007
       
Man O' War equaled the track record whie easily winning the Travers Stakes at Saratoga by 2 1/2 lengths, carrying 129 pounds, whiete others carried 115 to 123 pounds.  His time for the 1 1/4 distance was 2:01 4/5, and he earned $9,275.  "Man o' War took the lead at the start, and setting a terrific pace in the early running, raced John P. Grier into defeat and was under restraint through the stretch."  16 wins from 17 starts ~1920
