Undefeated two-Year-Old Champion Favorite Trick was named 1997 Horse of the Year. ~1998
 
Jockey Edgar Prado gained the 6,000th win of his career when he guided Sumphin to victory in the 6th race at Gulfstream Park. Prado became the 16th jockey in history to win 6,000 races. ~2008
