Eddie Arcaro - April 3rd

At the age of 46, jockey Eddie Arcaro announced his retirement. He retired with 4,779 victories, including two Triple Crowns, won with Whirlaway and Citation. ~1962

Met him, at of all places, Evangeline Downs LOOSiana many moons ago. Nice guy and really knew what he was taliking about as ABC analyst for horse racing.
