One of my favorites is gone now but I would have to agree with you TV, horses are born to run and they love it, when they are no longer able to run they become miserable they will sometimes cry to, so sad. R.I.P. Affirmed you were a beast.
While it is rational to be upset, if you have ever really been around a old horse that cannot get up, THAT is more heartbreaking than taking him out of his misery
