No Nay Never with Ascot Record for Ward (Video)

No Nay Never 615 X 400
Mission accomplished. Wesley Ward and Joel Rosario came to Royal Ascot with their eyes on victory, and they didn't plan on leaving empty handed.

After the disappointment of Orgermeister finishing down the field in the Windsor Castle Stakes, Sweet Emma Rose filled the team with great confidence when finishing second in the Group 2 Queen Mary Stakes but the best was yet to come.

Vocal on how good he felt No Nay Never was, Wesley Ward knew the best was yet to come and he would tell anyone who listened.

Sent off the 4-1 second favourite, No Nay Never missed the break but settled beautifully under a confident ride from Rosario. Having learnt and adjusted all week, Rosario would end the week with his Royal Ascot winner in the Group 2 Norfolk.

Ward now looks to target a return to Europe with No Nay Never, planning to take Group 1 glory this year in the Group 1 Prix Morny at Deauville in France.

Yes, I have a British friend who talks like that.
Is "learnt" proper in the United Kingdom?
From what I read Mr. Ward is shipping No Nay Never back to the USA to prep for the Prix Morny at Deauville later in the summer. GR1 mile in france could certainly be their's for the taking.
You are, good catch.
1200 meters >> but who's counting? Congrats on your good day today.
Congrats to you Americans!. Mr. Ward has always supported the Royal Meet and it is nice he can bring one of your horses over and put on a performance like No Nay Never did. Stunning. Congrats again.
Joel has really proved to be a top jockey on many surfaces both here and abroad.
Big time Kudos to Wesley Ward for being the consistent flag bearer for America at Ascot's royal meeting year in and year out!! Ward has done a brilliant job at showing that if you send over quality horses that are gonna be competitive, America can not only compete at Ascot but they can win races!! It would be great to see some of the other top American trainers start following Ward's lead and send over some of their stable stars, because that 5 day meet at Ascot is one of the best racing meetings held anywhere in the world. In essence, it's Great Britain's equivalent of our Breeders Cup. Very impressed by with No Nay Never in the Norfolk Stakes. Aidan O'Brien had made no secret about the fact they thought Coach House to be one of their most promising 2yo at Ballydoyle back in Ireland and even blowing the start No Nay Never beat him whole. A job well done by team Wesley Ward at Ascot this week.
Yea, Joel, winning on both sides of the ocean!
