Will Take Charge is an amazing racehorse. Not only has he flourished despite an almost unheard of demanding schedule by today’s standards, but the way he finishes every race, in which he has any chance at all to hit the wire first, is truly unique.Read More

  • amino998 · This thread includes some of the many things I like/meh about this place… outlandish takes, talking out of both sides of the mouth, provocative takes, solid opinions, lively debate, interesting interjections by others, pissing matches with interjected quips {lol Mary and jenna) and fade to black as another 5 day defilement of a “ZIPSE AT THE TRACK” comes to a close :D · 180 days ago ·

  • airedale2008 · There's nothing better than watching older horses perform so spectacularly as Calidoscopio did in the Brooklyn. From being completely out of the competition, to winning with style. As the announcer said, Calidoscopio is only the second 10 year old to ever win a graded stakes race. Calidoscopio is Argentinian bred. The other 10 year old is the German bred Musketier. It would be nice to see some American bred horses winning at this age. Aaron Gryder ran a brilliant race under instructions from trainer Mike Puype to run late most of the way. For those who believe that jockeys are only passengers and horses run races all by themselves, watch this one again. · 193 days ago ·

  • UnionRagsRules · He's THE MAN. Period. Glad to be a fan of such a hard working horse. It's almost as if he acts like he's tired, and tells the other horses "ya know what I'm just not feeling it today..." Then when he spots the wire he says: "Just kidding! Eat my dust." Love this running style. It scares me, yes, but it's very thrilling and quite amazing to watch. His heart, determination and pure will power (no pun intended) have captured the hearts of many fans, including me. Here's to a long and prosperous 2014 for Will Take Charge, and may you're big white blaze always reach the wire first. · 221 days ago ·
