What the Horse Racing Nation is talking about...

A victory in the grade one Cotillion at Parx would virtually lock up the Three-Year-Old Filly Championship for Abel Tasman. Read More
From this morning's Racing Post web-site: Prix Morny & Prix Robert Papin winner, Unfortunately, has been bought by Cheveley Park Stud in private deal with previous owners Jeff Laughton and Elaine Burke, but will remain in the yard of trainer Karl Burke. The announcement was made on Tuesday evening by Cheveley Park Stud managing director, Chris Richardson.
To ruffianlover I'm totally new to these forum things but I have gone down through the comments for the last 12 months on this subject and I am totally intrigued by nearly all of your comments on how much common sense is in all of them. I'm from the bush in the land of oz and I don't have facebook or twitter or whatever else is supposed to be the in thing, I still don't even know how to work this thing properly but have a passion for horse racing and would love to get a few tips on how to have a chat with you through this site or some other way. I know that asking on here isn't probably the best way but I got no idea how to do it otherwise. Guarantee I know more about horse racing than how to do this stuff.
It is given that if a horse win the 3 boggest dirt races in a year ($12mil, $10mils and $6mils), the HOY is locked!! What about winning 2 out of 3?

I'd like to see to see Hollendorfer get Jungle Warfare in the FrontRunner if possible. His father Animal Kingdom won it.

Though numbers may be against him.....He is the horse to catch....you'll see.
Let's start by saying...OMG! Out of nowhere...thundering to finish ahead of the projected and much discussed field of proven winners....comes the 80/1 long shot! I'm not much of a betting man....small bets...love to play the field...long shot fun, etc.....but I couldn't believe my eyes when the race was Official and I saw the amount of the Win payoff...$180.60. The race itself, just another claimer....a large field...most not truly known unless you study track and numbers constantly, and then a star is born! Eastern Sky, 3 year old filly out of Invasor (Arg) and Gaily Field dam. 80/1 long shot....unbelievable! A big congrats to the Eastern Sky team and Joseph Martin owner and trainer...job well done!
Decisive from start to finish and up against 2 extremely strong females, Ami's Mesa and Bar Of Gold, Cavalia (a 12/1 long shot in the Presque Isle Masters) took a strong place out of the gate and never stopped coming. A true winner in my book and one of my new favorites!
Amazing Amazing Amazing! Third Stakes win in a row for Ami's Mesa and set a new Presque Isle Downs track record - 1:14:68!! Come from behind win against a very strong Bar of Gold!! Truly magnificent! What else can she win??
Monday's 5th race (7:15pm ET) from Presque Isle Downs is the Grade 2 Presque Isle Masters for fillies and mares dashing six and one-half furlongs on the all-weather surface. #12 Bar of Gold (9-2) ran well in her last three turf routes under Ortiz including a win in the $150k Yaddo for NY-breds ...Read More

From today's Racing Post web-site: Trainer Aidan O'Brien tells the Racing Post today that star 3YO filly, Winter, who was turned over by stablemate Hydrangea for the first time in 5 starts at G1 level just over a week ago in the G1 Matron Stakes at Leopardstown, is under "serious consideration" to be a 4th runner for Ballydoyle in this year's G1 Prix De l'Arc de Triomphe at Chantilly. Winter would join Highland Reel, Capri, & Order of St George who O'Brien confirmed are all being pointed at Europe's premier middle distance G1 race.
It Tiz Well/ Salty / Abel Tasman These are my top 3. Probably just going to box them, but would love if It Tiz Well could steal this one.
Dortmund?!?! This would be a comeback story of the ages.
Baffert was given instructions after Arrogate won the BCC last year, that they didn't care what he did throughout this year, but all they cared about was Arrogate winning the BCC again this year. Even with the track being a disadvantage, Arrogate should be the deserving favorite, and the only horse I can see beating him with Gun Runner. All due respect to Collected, but it took a perfect race out of Collected to beat a So-So Arrogate by a head last time out...I don't think they are in the same league.
With Bejarano after Mike García galore. Easy half a mile to get the big A back on the work tab. Does the trick.
It appears there has been a jock change for IWC. Going with Lynch.
